»Thoughts, words, you could call them, if you want?emotions. Incredible how

much our state of mind influences the vision of a work of art. Sometimes, when
I'm angry and I look at my paintings, I see darkness, desolation and faces
troubled by the end of the world. On the contrary, if I'm in a good mood, I see

meadows of colorful flowers, fireflies, rivers and dancing women. I don't give

titles to my works for this reason, so as to leave the freedom to those who look
at them, to see them through what is happening inside themselves.«
